Cool Hand Luke, a production of 1967, is another classic film starring bad-boys'-favorite Paul Newman. Although it seems like a classic prison drama, it's quite the contrary. We would say that it is primarily a film about freedom of thought, or rather a movie that questions society's strict structure and rules as well as the obsolete understanding of right and wrong, of good and evil.. Paul Newman ridicules the prison system and tries to enforce his own way but this will obviously bring negative results.
