Guru's Jazzmatazz

Keith Elam or by his stage name Guru is the man behind the project Gurus Jazzmatazz. Guru has made with this project 4 albums which are released under the Chrysalis records. The style of the project is a coctail of nighty rhymes, live jazz bands, hip-hop and big dose of acid jazz. The main characteristic of the project is the many artists that took part in the project. Names from Roy Ayers to MC solaar, Rony Jordan, Jamiroquai, Erykah Badu, Herbie Hancock, Isaac Hayes, Blackalicious and many others. The paradokse was that it bacame commercial success mainly in Europe and not in U.S.A.
